	<title>Fire Alarms</title>
	<description>
The aid of fire alarms is irreplaceable
Seriously. One minute you're lying in bed, the next you're running for the door, just in time to escape with your life before a five-alarm blaze engulfs your home in flames. Now that was a close one. Were it not for fire alarms, you'd be in seriously deep crap.

Alright so most likely you are not going to die in a fire no matter what you do. The odds are certainly in your favor as far as dying of natural causes, or at least some medical ailment not related to a fire. But when it comes to fire safety, you still need to be careful, because your own preparations could be the only thing preventing that 1-in-1,000,000 circumstance. Even if you do not realize it, you should make sure you have things such as fire extinguishers and smoke detectors in place and up to modern standards. It is no good to have them there if you are not going to get any use out of them. They have to work, and work well, in other words.

Children and fire alarms
Early on in a child's life, they know nothing about fire. This is when they are most vulnerable. It's on you to make sure that all of the necessary child safety tips are talked about at length and in detail, and that your little people understand. Of course, they will soon reach an age where they not only understand fire, but think it is a joke, or some kind of fun thing to play with. This is why they have all those fire alarms at schools, don'cha know. Of course, then kids pull them as pranks, scaring the crap out of everyone and causing needless delays. Dammit, why does anyone even have children in this day and age. They are nothing but trouble!

In any case, fire alarms prevent bad things. Which makes them good.
