Fire Safety

By now, you can probably recite all the fire safety lessons you've learned by heart. Ever since you were a child, these have been hammered home to you, right? In any case, let's conduct a quick review:

Stay close to the floor. This is the best way to avoid inhaling smoke, which is never something you really want to ingest.
Avoid hot door knobs. if you need to break down a door to reach those helpful fire extinguishers, just be aware. The knobs are surprisingly scorching.
Call the experts. Don't try and put out those harmful flames on your own. We can admire your independence and gumption, but don't be too silly or brave. You should pull those fire alarms and ensure that actual fighters are on their way shortly.

Fire safety: Read up right now
What, do you think you have it all covered? You think you know all there could possibly be to know about fire safety? We sincerely hope this is the case, but never grow too cocky. You need to remain humble in order to gather together as much information as you can concerning these tips and pieces of advice. Remember that you are not just responsible for your own well-being here, but for the assurance of others, as well. If you're a parent, for example, there's child safety rules to constantly consider.

Fire safety: Look over the possibilities
Do your best to account for everything. Always think about the nearest exits, wherever you are. After all, the entire point of an emergency is that you can't see it coming. That means you must be on guard regarding toddler safety at all times, rain or shine, night or day.
